MENtit Privacy Policy

Next Generation Skills Analytics and Testing Pvt. Ltd. or (“MENTit”) provides this Privacy Policy to let you know our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information through www.mentit.org (the “Site”), and any other websites, features, applications, widgets or online services that are owned or controlled by MENTit and that post a link to this Privacy Policy (together with the Site, the “Service”), as well as any information MENTit collects offline in connection with the Service. It also describes the choices available to you regarding the use of, your access to, and how to update and correct your personal information. Note that we combine the information we collect from you from the Site, through the Service generally, or offline.

MENtit collects email addresses of people who send us emails. We also collect information on activities on the pages that user’s access and information provided to us by users via surveys and site registrations. Such information may contain personal data about you including but not limited to your address, phone numbers and other personal details.

MENtit protects personal information. We are not allowed to disclose such personal information without your written permission. However, certain information collected from you and about you is used within the context of providing our services to you. The individual identifying information we collect is not shared with, sold or rented to others except under certain circumstances and which your use of the Service is deemed to provide to us as a valid consent to disclose the following:

1. MENtit may share personal information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of MENtit’s terms of use, where required to defend itself in legal action, as required by law enforcement or a court order or as otherwise required by law.
2. MENtit engages other companies to provide services on our behalf and may need to share your information with them in order to continue to provide products and services to you. MENtit may also share your information to provide products or services you have requested or when we have your permission.

We will transfer information about you if MENtit is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, MENtit will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on the MENtit web site before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

 

What type of Personal Information we collect and we do with it:

1. The term “Personal Information” as used herein is defined as any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact or locate the person to whom such information pertains. This will include but not limited to your name, address, Emirates Id number, phone number, email address, location or payment information including credit/debit card information. The Personal Information that we collect will be subject to this Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.
2. MENtit uses the information we collect for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact and research.
3. As part of the buying and selling process on MENtit, you will obtain the email address and/or shipping address of your customers. By entering into our Site, you agree that, with respect to other users’ Personal Information that you obtain through MENtit or through a MENtit-related communication or MENtit-facilitated transaction, MENtit hereby grants you a non-exclusive license to use such information only for MENtit-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages.

MENtit does not tolerate spam. Therefore, you are not allowed to add the name and/or contact details of anyone who has purchased an item from you, to your mail list (email or physical mail) without their express consent.

Security:

1. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information, such as credit card number on our registration form, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
2. While we strive for utmost security through commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
3. MENtit does not store documentation or credit card details of merchants or buyers.

Disclosure:

1. MENtit may use third party service providers to provide certain services to you and we may share Personal Information with such service providers to improve your experience. We require any company with which we may share Personal Information to protect data in a manner consistent with this policy and to limit the use of such Personal Information for the performance of services for MENtit.
2. MENtit may disclose Personal Information under special circumstances, such as to comply with court orders requiring us to do so, to defend ourselves in a legal action or when your actions violate the Terms of Service.
3. We use a service provided by Google called Google Analytics (GA). GA permits us to reach people who have previously visited our site, and show them relevant advertisements when they visit other sites across the Internet on the Google Display Network. This is called ‘remarketing’.

Client Data Storage:

1. MENtit owns the data storage, databases and all rights to the MENtit application. By entering into our user agreement, you are acknowledging that both you and your customers are entering into the MENtit ecosystem.
2. MENtit may, from time to time promote your services to customers across the MENtit ecosystem.

We Use Cookies and other technologies to Improve Your Experience

We may use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and Web beacons. These technologies help us better understand user behavior, tell us which parts of our Site people have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of offer and Services and improve them. We treat the information received from cookies and other technologies as non-personal information.

You will have the option to disable cookies. If you choose to do so, unfortunately, certain features of the Site will not be available once cookies are disabled.

We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes as well:

1. to fulfill your requests for certain products and services;
2. for market research, project planning, troubleshooting problems, detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity;
3. to third-party contractors that provide services to us and are bound by these same privacy restrictions;
4. to enforce our Terms of Service; and
5. as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy (including disclosures to protect our rights, if required by law, or relating to a transfer of control or sale of assets).

You Can Delete Your Data Anytime by Discontinuing Use of Our Service

When you request us to delete your account for the Service, except as mentioned below, your Personal Information will be permanently expunged from our primary production servers and further access to your account will not be possible. We will also promptly disconnect any connection we had established to your Account Information (see below) and delete all account credentials.

However, portions of your Personal Information, in anonymous and aggregate forms, may remain on our production servers indefinitely. We reserve the right to use this aggregate data to improve our service and for other lawful purposes. Your data may also remain on a backup server or media but will be removed within a commercially reasonable period of time. MENtit keeps these backups to ensure our continued ability to provide the Service to you in the event of malfunction or damage to our primary production servers.

Also, please note that we also may need to store your data as required by federal, state or local law or by our regulators or to defend ourselves in any law suit brought by yourself or any third party.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here or by means of a notice on your dashboard so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.

If you, for yourself or on behalf of the person(s), you are representing with respect to MENtit services do not agree to any of the forgoing terms, you must discontinue the registration process and discontinue your use of the services. If you are already a member, cancel your account.

Beginning now, any continuation by you in using the Services constitutes for you or those represented by you an expressed affirmation and commitment to be or continue to be legally bound by these terms.
