  • During the COVID-19 disruption, technology adoption has become a considerably more critical performance differentiator. In the 12 categories where technology was a performance difference, tech-savvy companies outperformed their counterparts by 6 percentage points in sales growth on average.
  • The recipe for success in terms of "technology mix" is evolving. Cloud and AI are increasingly becoming performance differentiators.
  • Each industry has its own “signature.” Technologies that benefit one industry do not necessarily distinguish themselves from those that help another.
