SUCCESS ZIG ZIGLAR WAY

Zig Ziglar is one of the best motivational speakers there is. He is one of those people who wake up and decide to spend their day without thinking of any negative thoughts and plan their day ahead. 

ZIG ZIGLAR-

Zig Ziglar started his career as any other sales representative. He was exceptionally good as a salesman but had different plans for himself.  Zig Ziglar was part of a huge family. But after the sudden death of his father and one of his sisters, the responsibility of taking care of the family came onto his mother. His mother took great care of the family. Zig was immensely inspired by her. She is the one on the basis of which his morals and principles are formed. He mentioned his mother in his autobiography and called her “a remarkable woman”.

He was a part of the US Navy during the Second World War when he joined the Navy College Training Program. The program was located in Colombia where he worked part-time as a salesman in WearEver Aluminum Company. He used to sell pans and pots there. That was when he learned a lot being a salesman and had a lot of experience.

In 1994, Zig Ziglar moved to Lancaster and worked as a salesman selling cooking equipment as a full time job.

JOURNEY AS A MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER-

Working as a Salesman gave Zig a lot of experience and tactics. He wanted to help other sales representatives with whatever he learned in so many years. He motivates people and gives motivational speeches. That is when he discovered his interest in motivational speaking.

In the year 1970, Zig Ziglar decided to switch his career entirely from working in sales to motivational speaking. Since then, Zig Ziglar has been doing his best to help people in many ways by his speaking. Zig Ziglar helped people in creating strategies for their businesses as well as for personal life. 

He wrote his first book “See You At The Top” in 1970. But the book too went through a lot before being published. The manuscript was rejected by 30 publishing houses before Zig Ziglar found his publisher. It is one of his most loved books to date. The book has inspired more than thousands of people and helped them work hard for their dreams, goals, and aspirations.

In 1999, Zig received the Master of Influence Award from the National Speakers Association. He also received a Lifetime Member Award and Cavett Award in 2001. Zig Ziglar, received the Silver Buffalo Award from the Boy Scouts of America in 2001. 

Zig Ziglar retired in the year 2010 and handed his company the Ziglar Inc. to his son. He has influenced many lives through his speeches and books. He is still considered a great inspiration in the world.
